Forum's Search Function is Terrible

Being new to this game I've tried searching the forums for help. Everything I type gets repealed as being too common. The following are examples:

-beam
-save
-game
-ship
-fire

So if you search for "fire beam" or "save game" or whatever, it auto-excludes these words, among others. These are some key words for this game!

They are so key in fact that they are talked about on a regular basis.

Wonder if they could turn off the auto-exclude or tune it down? Not sure what options the forum has built in.
