Stealth Bug?

Stealth Bug?

Whether this is an actual bug or whether its intentional I dont know, but whenever im facing an enemy ship with a stealth system installed all my weaponry stops charging up when it cloaks. This seems a bit silly if its intentional because their ship having a stealth drive wouldnt effect my ships weapons.
Any fix or advice is much appreciated because it is begining to get a bit annoying...

The way I see it is that the weapons are NOT charging, they are aiming

They can't see the target? They can't aim

That's why they freeze

But if they were aiming then if you shot at the same place twice then it wouldnt need to re-aim, so there would be no cool down so that wouldnt really work...

I recall the developers saying something to the effect of "It does this because in later games imagine coming out of a cloak and having all your enemy's weapons firing at you at one time". In the end sectors that would = death in most cases.

What makes you think the enemy ship would stay in exactly the same position for that long?

Because if you watch the 'battles', the ships dont move at all...

If you look closely when you fire at the other ship you can notice the shots come in at random angles. This is to give the illusion that the ships are in fact, moving. Developers talked about that one too.

I'm afraid I don't get your point. The developers have taken in to account ship movement and it is clearly visible. Are you saying they didn't or are you just trolling at this point?
