The Chronicles of captain Richardson

Captain Richardson looked over his new ship a beautiful beast also known as the red-tail, this was to be his vessel for the coming trials which no doubt lay ahead. He had under his command a diverse crew comprising of two humans a mantis and an engi. He had a feeling as he looked out at them saying there goodbyes that they might never say hello to these people again, but he pushed that though to the back of his head. They set of fairly smoothly decimating any opposition with there Superior fire power but the captain still felt nervous after every jump expecting a missile toting rebel death machine to jump out at him at any moment. There trip through the engi sector was filled with nice surprises for one they gained not 1 not 2 but 4 new crew members 2 mantis and tow zolton. But all good things must come to an end and this good thing came to an end when they hit a nebula. A rebel automated scout was hidden in the clouds of an ion storm and due to this the ship was drastically reduced in power and shields, the rebel ship decimated them with missiles and pike beams and all but 3 where killed in an oxygen leak the reaming crew including the captain jumped into the 1 escape pod and got out just as the ship exploded behind them.
