I'm attempting to make a series of characters for a home game of my own creation. I have the list of character names, thanks to the modding community (thank you Bas). Obviously, there are some automatic associations (eg. Ariadne, KazaaakplethKilik, and Slocknog). But other than that, I'm arbitrarily assigning them.

Most natural names (eg. the infamous Charlie) are going to be human. I figure Magmar is a Rockman. For some reason I often get Gumpo the Mantis, so that's where he's going. Beyond that, it gets a little thin. Notch the Engi? Sort of.

Opinions?

I often associate "King" with the engi, only because it was the first name for that 1 engi I got on the Engi Cruiser B
I thought the name was cool and fitting since he was all alone with drones, He's the king of his castle (ship).

I am not sure, but if you count the names that are added due to people donating high amounts of money, I think Notch would be an Engi for obvious reasons.

@NewAgeOfPower Ariadne is otherwise known as the Rock Bride of Numa V, promised to the Grand Basilisk. You have to make some specific choices to get her.

I associate Charlie with a Human and two Mantises from my Three Charlies run. The Human was, of course, "Meatsack Charlie."

Yes, of course, most natural names are going to be human. And, yes, I do associate certain names with certain races!

I associate many human female names with Engi, because the game likes to throw female Engi at me. Elnubnub is also a Lanius.
