That feel when you've never gotten past level 6 and you somehow get all the way to level 8 with the basic Kestrel.
That feel when you kill the final boss on normal in the same game.
That feel when you also get 6 game achievements and 1 ship achievement.
That feel when you also unlock the Zlotan ship along the way.

wow, you got double burst laser II, thats something i always dreamed of and never had. multiple burst laser II is imo the most powerful weapon combo.

btw.: my first win with the steahlth cruiser type b was when i got a weapon preigniter from a surrendering ship right in sector 1. until sector 4 or 5 i just one shotted every single encounter right at the start of the battle and on the way i got ion bomb and ion blast II for the bigger shields of sector 6-8. i finnished the game with glaive beam, ion bomb, hull laser II and an offensive drone and defensive drone both mark I. the final boss died faster than i could rebalance my power for defensive purposes and use cloak etc. ... literally.

i would say that was my sweetest game ever.

ah well re-reading the topic, i cant really be proud of it... in that matter it was simply the most stupid and lucky and easy game i have ever had.

32 games (50:50 easy/normal) and no victory for me so far
Got to the very end twice, but due to lack of understanding of the last battle's mechanisms I lost because I went to wrong places and got the "flagship too close to base - game over" thing, even though it had jumped to the beacon I was in.

Chin up Megas Domestikos, you're nearly there. It takes about 30-40 attempts for most people. It's gonna be the sweetest thing when you watch it break up into pieces.

But be warned, the boss likes to cheat, so be prepared for a nasty fight.

Got really close with Zoltan ship. The flagship had only 4 hull before that damn missile salvo took me

Should've taken out the missile first.

But I believe I will get my first win with Zoltan ship, it's really nice with its starting laser.
