Steam profile location?

Steam profile location?

I recently bought FTL on steam and since I already unlocked everything on my old copy I want to use FTL profile editor to unlock all the ships. However, I can't seem to find the profile file in the FTL folder. Help is appreciated.

you're not looking in the right place. the thread I linked says "My Documents/My Games/FasterThanLight"

you see Documents there on the left sidebar? go to it then go to 'My Games', then 'FasterThanLight'. the save location will not be found in within Steam. that means that if you have two different versions of the game they will use the same profile.
