Skip if you just want the music:
So I really love this game and I absolutely love the music. I'm quite musically talented for a 16yr old, so I though I would try and learn the music to FTL. Alas, there's not a great deal of material online. So I decided to use my ear to listen and write out the music in MIDI form. I think I've done a pretty good job with this first one. I did it in one day and if it gets a good reception I might consider doing the other songs. I didn't do the drums (because I suck at drums) and there were a couple small parts I know I've missed, but for the main part it should be helpful! In the video I panned my version left and the original right so you can compare yourself. Most of it I figured out by ear, but there were a couple parts I found online, mainly the chords, because they were harder to identify. This is ultimately for anyone who wants to learn how to play the battle theme for Civil. Let me know what you think and if you want me to do more!

I am from Australia. I was addicted to this game and every night after wearing my sleep suit and sitting on bed sheet I started playing. I always liked to play with sheet music.
