Seems the Hi Rez pack is crashing the game. I can play it fine without the hi rez stuff.

Yeah, just to say again... what a FANTASTIC mod. Really love just being able to fly around space without feeling the pressure of the fleet behind me! But if you can get rid of that crash that would be lovely, as it is a little unnerving always worrying about that event ending it all:)

Okay, a question... how do you engage the mini boss at the start of each map? They always warn me that enemies might be around, but never fight me. How do you get them to attack?

whenever i get to the border control thing and choose the second option the game crashes

Hey, just wanted to say thanks for the mod, been having a lot of fun with it, one of the main problems I had with the game was that after I beat the boss I couldn't keep going. Now I can actually get a nice fully upgraded ship in all areas and take things a bit more slow. Might get into the modding community myself actually.

Awesome, I always want to play with a ship forever :D , but the game crashes every time i start a new game so I cant play, you know why? and if you do can you tell what may causing it?...

I just purchased ftl, played it a bit, and wanted a more "sandbox" style game. This mod fits the bill, but, unfortunately it crashes when I start a new game. My steam client updated ftl to the most recent version, so reverting is not an option. I tried re-installing ftl fresh and just applying the low res version of the mod to no success. I also tried the .5 test version with the same results. Any word on the future compatibility of this mod? Will it be updated to work on the current version of ftl?

The mod isn't abandoned, it just looks like the author is busy in rl and can't devote time to releasing a new version. At least not soon.

Shame the game crashes on you, but i'm affraid there's nothing you can do unless Steam offers the previous version for download (i think it does for some games). You can have multiple versions of FTL running on one PC but:
a) you have to prevent Steam from auto updating the older one. :D
b) they will both share the same profile & savegame.
Report spam using the handy Report Button Mod.
