How about something that charges like a vulcan cannon and fires a two shots? Weapon type could be burst so you could make some laser images with an offset so they actually look like they're being fired from the barrels. You could also make it an "adaptive" weapon, meaning it does 1 normal damage, 1 system damage and x2 damage in systemless rooms.


Sounds like an interesting idea, I'll try working on the animation and other stuff. (May take a while, busy with school.)

I got so attached to the idea that I just had to. Can't even stick to my own weapons packs... Oh well, do with this what you will. And if you don't mind, let me know when you download it so I can get rid of the link.

Just wondering Vortex, what software do you use for splicing and making animation sheets? (I use; Macromedia Flash 8 (animation sheets), GIMP and PIXLR (splicing and for other things)

I used to use Pixlr, now I pretty much exclusively use GIMP. I haven't heard of Macromedia Flash 8 before.

Yeah, its pretty old software, probably around 2008, I don't really have anything better expect for GIMP.

I think GIMP can be kinda tough to learn, but once you get the hang of all necessary the features doing weapon anim sheets gets a lot easier. At least, in my experience.

I had another idea. You could make a cluster missile style weapon, like the artillery from steamtex's Cathartes. That could be interesting.
