And so, the Crystalline revisit comes to a close. Next up on the to-do list is a brand new race, the Shells!

 NEW FEATURES:

Added the Crystalline Origins.

You can now activate the Waystone in the rock homeworlds using Rock crew.

Added the Cult of the Eternal Amber faction.

Extended and finished the Crystal Miniboss questline.

Added the Cultist Cruiser type A, and dialogue for Tully for the Cultist ships.

Added the Cultist Loot Transport and loot items.

Added the Cultist crew type and socilization options.

Added the Grand Priest Lord Vortigon Obadann XIV, Devout Follower and Leader of the Cult of the Eternal Ember and Keeper of the

Holy Texts. (and also added socialization for him)

All loot weapon and drones have new descriptions to explain that they are special.

Crystal C now starts with a cultist instead of a rockman.

Free Mantis C starts with a devotee instead of a standard zoltan now.

Fixed some tpyos.

Fixed some missing combat checks.

Improved the Engineer cruiser sprite.

Fixed Ruwen not triggering crystal blue options.

Fixed Reinforcements having quest tooltips on the map menu.

Fixed the Cloak Reloader not working as intended.

Fixed the elite crystal chargegun appearing in stores.

Fixed the Feeding Lanius event spawning the gold lanius ship.

Fixed the Ghost Duel spawning a random guard.

Fixed the Rock blue option for the Zoltan Capital.

Fixed Friction Suits triggering Pheromone blue options.

Fixed the Auto Munitions Factory giving a breach mk 2 when that weapon isnt supposed to exist anymore.

Fixed Casper AGAIN.

Boarding drones can sabotage temporarily because the new AI was broken.

Fixed the Crystal Homeworlds not being marked as unique.

Fixed some random pixel issues on the Inquisition assault.

Patching failed: java.nio.charset.UnmappableCharacterException: Input length = 1

I get this whenever I try to install the mod, either in FTL or Zip form. Any fixes or workarounds?

I believe I've seen this issue before, but I don't know what causes it. It is possible that it might be a hyperspace issue?
Try;
-running the game with only hyperspace and not multiverse
-uninstalling hyperspace and JUST running Multiverse to see if you get this issue

I'll bring the screenshot of this to Swift (one of the hyperspace devs), hopefully he can help whenever he sees it.

First launched just hyperspace, then relaunched the game with Hyperspace and Multiverse. Didn't work, so I uninstalled hyperspace and just ran multiverse. Also didn't work.

Might be a problem with the Slipstream launcher itself, or it might be something in Multiverse, either way can't use multiverse.

What operating system are you using? Sometimes things act a little funky on Linux from what I've seen, if thats what you're using.

Added Shell Sectors (nebula)

Added a new race, Shells.

Added the Shell cruiser type A, B, and C.

Added Shell enemy ships.

Added Shell socilization.

Guard Reinforcements will always have an ASB and give less rewards now.

You can now find Shell crew in nebula and slug sectors.

Added the Shell specific Toxic Gas augment.

You can now breed shells in the Private Quarters.

Added the Conservative bomb.

Improved some of the Engineer pirates.

Slug B now starts with a shell.

Engineer Operator and Dropship can only spawn sectors 2+.

Halucination slug event gives a standard slug instead of a saboteur now.

For some reason the Cultist damage reisistance is applied along with the self-damage, so they now take 100 self damage that is then

reduced to 75.

Hopefully fixed the angry mantis teleporting away almost immediately after freeing him.

Fixed loot torch spawning in stores.

Fixed Stealth B not having any starting droneparts.

Fixed Zoltan/Dusk/Pirate empty nebula beacons using the wrong event.

Fixed Zoltan exit beacons.

Fixed a couple guard crew-kill drops.

Fixed Monk Cruiser not having a 4 man medbay.

Fixed Cultist Reinforcements.

Fixed the civilian sotre fuel-buyer taking scrap as well.

Fixed talking to Vortigon in the last stand.

Fixed Engineer Carryship not having crew.

Fixed ceasing fire on the cultist cruiser not ending the fight.

Fixed some things with the Cultist cruiser sprite.

Hi, Love this mod. Made me come back to FTL.

I noticed that when an enemy ship explodes, it disappears in stead of pieces of debris that fly off.
I liked the flying debris...
