It looks like it replaces the Red-Tail. Are you only looking at the Kestral slot?

Ah, that might explain it. I haven't unlocked the Red-Tail on the school computers yet ;)

Ah, that might explain it. I haven't unlocked the Red-Tail on the school computers yet ;)


Hey hey, no worries, now it replaces kestrel A, the alt skin for it (different thread) replaces kestrel B

This ship looks amazing, and it's probably my favourite modded ship. SLIGHTLY underpowered, (because finding a better weapon is pure luck), but it is beautiful, does not look frankenstein'd together like most of the ship mods, and it has the FTL retro-ish art style.
Keep doing what you're doing. Because you're pretty damn good at it. ;)

what do you mean by frankenstien'd and most? most frankenstien'd ships are typically by the newest users and are not that common, if you meant slicing then this guy, along with a lot of other people did it.

Kinda, it's alright. Anyway there are quite a few mods out there.

you should try out the following...

Infinite space : endless ftl game play (has issues and no difficulty/ income curve)
Captains Edition: huge extension to the current vanilla FTL experience, tons of new weapons, augments, enemies, etc. Definite must try.
Escort Duty : mod from the legendary DryEagle, first ship to utilize 'advance' doors to make a mod that makes you play as 2 ships 'technically'
[generic ghost ship]: ghost ships refer to ftl ships that got 100% ghost crew, there is a ghost version ( I think) of this ship. etc.

Mods you should check when finished.

FTL: Incursion: made by kieve, huge overhaul set 20 years after the rebels won the war I think. It's cool and the level of music and art is amazing.

current status: 1 ship is released, main menu and main menu song replaced.

FTL: Foundation of the Federation mad by WhaleCancer, it's on hold due to poor mod support, changes all 9 ships into 3 vanilla fed, zoltan, and engi ships. It is the old federation, this is the federation make up back in the day, which is cannon to vanilla, zoltans, engi, and humans are part of the federation.

current status: all ships replaced, not fully finished though, some issues with ships but nothing major, new enemies replaced, type b's (with type b colours) of ships added and cruisers to those races, 50% done.

FTL: Engi Brigade only mentioning this because it's my mod, working on replacing all the ships with playable Engi ships, it's proving hard as soon type C ships and a new ship will be added. I will add new quests, events, and Mantis ships. proving a bigger challenge then expected.

current status: 2 ships released. huge 'flagship' and interceptor.
