The Kestrel was destoryed in a battle. The survivors, whose ships were also severly damaged, used the pieces from different ships to put it back together. Most of them weren't engineers so it's a miracle that the ship even flies.

Hmm...

I'm not entirely certain a ship with 3 asymmetrically arranged engines would fly very well. That ship would be turning right all the time, as there are two engines in the Rebel portion.

It really is a jumble of mismatched parts, though...

But where did you see the second Rebel engine?

But there are not two engines on the Rebel portion.

You took one of the wings of a Rebel ship, probably a fighter. As far as I know, those wings are engines.

I see no reason, in a ship that's been cobbled together from scratch, to assume that every (or even any! ) engine still works.

I like the idea. I've tried to stick together tons of gibs before into a horrific mess, and yours looks about 100 times better than any of mine. Kudos!

Now that I had time, I completely revised the ship:
- Made a new hull and room layout
- New cloak and miniship image
- Added gibs
- Added compatibility with Advanced Edition
- Added Drone Control and 4 drone parts
- Decreased Hull Health to 28

He means that it would turn left all the time because there are 2 engines on the right (Federation Portion)

Uh, no. I never commented on this new hull, and I don't think I'd have made such a glaring mistake if I did.

Anyway, the thruster from the Federation Cruiser actually replaces one of the three Kestrel thrusters on that side of the ship. If their strengths are identical and it's placed right, there shouldn't be any problem at all.

It doesn't look like it's placed to replace that thruster. It looks like it's been stacked on top (by the way, that's a Federation Scout's thruster. The Osprey is a triple-exhaust like the Kestrel)

So I noticed there were some weird red markings near the front of the ship. I zoomed in, and uh:
