Idea for the gibs:

Have the banana peel, then explode.

Although I doubt it's possible.

possible, yes, will it look good? when your out of hull points till explosion, your peal will most likely be visible as well as the normal ship...

The shield ellipse doesn't cover all of the rooms; free hits for the enemies.
The ship probably needs to move to the left some; it clips into the enemy window while there is still space on the left.

Maybe some day I can go into the files and make these changes myself...

I finally worked on this Banana to fix the issues that bugged me.

I moved the ship left, so it doesn't stick out so far on the right.
I moved the drone system, since the room graphic on the original didn't actual fit the original room. Then I gave it a new room image.
I updated the doors and sensors.
I added support for the new AE systems.
I replaced the shield, because the end rooms weren't protected. Custom-shaped shields just don't work.
