Well, right off the bat, we have a problem. I fought a civilian with the Fed station and managed to secure some fuel. After a few jumps and some fights, I ended up landing right in the middle of the crystal sector with no fuel and no store to get repairs from

So, I may have run into problem. I'm at sector 2 in CE-Infinite with the Adjudicator. Did a couple of Deep space sectors in between. Well, different strokes for different folks, I suppose? I enjoy a challenge and these ships provide one while not being completely unfair. Some have it rough at the early sectors while others can regularly win with little trouble.
Either way, no one's forcing you.
