The beta will start by the end of this month, this is mainly because the kickstarter failed as it was supposed to start at the 7th of january I think.

Re: Universe Project - Most ambitious game

Well if they didn't charge full price but maybe half I'd actually consider it but why on earth would I take my chances if afterwards it costs just as much? That just incentivices me to wait and see if it turns out any good, if so THEN I can spend my money. If I take a risk on a game I expect to get...

Re: Universe Project - Most ambitious game

I've actually read their FAQ blog before I made my comment, so I'm not saying I don't realize that it could be done in principle. They definitely thought hard about how it could actually be done. -snip- I know about topia and I've indeed pre-ordered it already. But you are talking about the planet,...

Re: Universe Project - Most ambitious game

I knew that people would be sceptical about this, but the most importiant thing is that they aren't asking for money yet, so you can't really complain, but you do have the right to be sceptical. In this page here http://universeprojects.blogspot.ca/ they answer both the fact that it is actually poss...

Universe Project - Most ambitious game

I am kinda in a hurry right now so I'll do this quickly. I am posting this because I haven't seen it here yet, in the hope that more people get the chance to see the game. Also the game is in it's pre-kickstarter stage now, so we don't know much about the game yet, but from what they are promising u...

Yes you can, you can find the button in the ship options screenshot.

Re: [TOOL]FTLEdit: FTL Ship editor [v0.88] (Please test!)

A couple of ideas for fixing both of the last problems: Take note of the "Important ship settings" you specified in the editor Options. If you don't have it open in the FTL Ship Editor any more, unzip the .ftl file and look in the data/blueprints.xml.append file, on the line that looks li...

Re: [TOOL]FTLEdit: FTL Ship editor [v0.88] (Please test!)

Hey, I got an problem here, the program was working all fine and everything and I had no issues using it. But when I tried to recreate one of my ships, the editor worked all fine, but then when I tried to access it in the game it just shutted down, no error messages, nothing, and I did nothing diffe...
